So Sick!

My whole family has been sick the past couple of weeks. Roxanne started it and passed it down to my husband and I. They are both feeling fine, but it just wants to linger with me for some reason. I have been so unproductive lately and am falling really behind. Now that I'm feeling a little bit better, I'm really busting my behind to get orders out the door in time for Christmas! My last batch goes out via express mail tomorrow.

Yesterday I was feeling really "bleh!" as I laid in bed with Bronchitis. There are really only 2 things that make me feel better when I'm down: my daughter and taking pictures. So of course taking pictures of my daughter was a great pick-me-up!

Heather + Adam :: October 31, 2006

This was definitely a first for me! What an awesome opportunity to break out of the box a little bit and do something a little untraditional. Heather is my best friend and it was a complete honor to be a part of her wedding.

Tiffany + Troy :: November 20th, 2006

I finally talked Tiffany into letting me shoot her wedding. She got married at the Tolleson Justice Courthouse and it just seemed too cool to miss! I got quite the education today.
Some of the things I learend:

Not everyone is crazy about a wall covered in grafitti
Whiskey Tango (did I get that right?)
Definately DO NOT TRESSPASS
Waiting outside does not count
All weddings share the same emotion regardless of the location

Trent was DEFINATELY my favorite subject today. He has beautiful eyes and loves the camera!

I scouted this spot last week and thought it was great.

Apparently you're not supposed to enter the park during school hours.

Tiffany looked so beautiful! Her dress suited her perfectly - I can't imagine her wearing anything else.

I am so lucky that I got to be a part of such an important day in their life. Thanks for letting me play guys!

Spooky :: Travel Photography

Whenever I travel for weddings, I always try to stay an extra day so I can explore the city I'm visiting. I never really feel like I've been there unless I've photographed the area.

This cemetery is smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas. This cemetery had headstones that were dated from the early 1800's.

Kim + Eric :: October 28th, 2006

The details of their wedding were simply AMAZING! Kim and Eric are such a creative couple and every element of their wedding was a perfect reflection of that. Kim is beautiful inside and out and made such a stunning bride!

You can find more images in the portfolio section on my website. Search for Kim + Eric :)

Antojos Restaurant

My relationship with them began as a customer. They have the BEST carne asada in town! They also serve beer and margaritas. How could I resist?

Antojos Restaurant is located at 13686 N. 75th Avenue in Peoria. They're on the SW corner of 75th and Thunderbird. Tell them Aronda sent ya ;)

My first post!

I figured since everyone else had a blog, maybe I should too :)
